Christine Cunningham is a solutions-oriented Talent Strategist and Principal HR Consultant on a mission to help small businesses ACE their HR. Her vision is to level the playing field and simplify HR for small businesses. She believes that HR does not have to be so complicated and challenging for businesses, especially those that cannot afford to hire an HR team. This vision has come full circle for her, with her genesis in training, as a high school student who offered extra Spanish lessons after school to her fellow students in grades seven to eleven, who were struggling with learning Spanish, because she believed at the time, that learning Spanish did not have to be so difficult for students.
Christine has spent almost 20 years in the HR profession, leading the HR administration function in multi-state union and non-union environments, building HR teams and processes, and training and developing leaders. She has a reputation for effectively assessing and addressing HR gaps within organizations and working with senior executives to achieve a synchronous rhythm between business and HR operations. She has led HR functions in large private and Fortune 50 corporation like Comcast where she was recognized and awarded for driving towards the betterment of the HR Community, making HR more strategic, more connected across the company, and more efficient. Her stellar achievement has been in driving down attrition levels in high turnover groups through effective talent management strategies. As a SHRM Certification instructor with Northwood University and the Palm Beach County SHRM chapter, Christine prepared hundreds of HR professionals to successfully obtain their HR certifications and is highly recommended among these professionals as a very knowledgeable, dynamic, and enthusiastic instructor with the ability to articulate complex information in a practical manner. She has also served as an Advisory Board member with South University. She is a certified Senior HR Professional and obtained certifications in Project Management and Change Management. Her exclusive Linked-In group “HR for HR Professionals” is aimed at mentoring and supporting HR Professionals. She takes a wholistic approach to advancing the HR profession by providing hope through her book “Are You Silently Losing Hope, Four Strategies to Experience the K.I.S.S. of Life (2021).” Christine holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development from Strayer University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northwood University. She was born and raised in Jamaica and calls Florida home.
